Every value below is computed by a real backend, not client-side math. Built by a network engineer — click any bit or line to interact with it.

Start with Subnet Lookup below, then read How Subnetting Works right after it — every other tool on this page (VLSM, config generator, enterprise design...) is built on those same two ideas. Tools marked Basic extend that core idea; tools marked Advanced assume you already have a network or design to work with.

Enter any IPv4 address + CIDR to see its network, broadcast, host range, and subnet mask — instantly, from the live backend.

/* how this works */
The network address comes from a bitwise AND between the IP and the subnet
mask — every host bit gets forced to 0, leaving only the network portion.
The broadcast address is the opposite: AND with the mask, then OR with the
wildcard mask (the mask's inverse), which forces every host bit to 1. That's
also why Cisco ACLs use wildcard masks instead of subnet masks — they describe
"which bits to ignore" rather than "which bits belong to the network." VLSM
further down the page applies the same math per subnet, sized to the smallest
block that fits the hosts you actually need, largest subnet first, so no
address space gets stranded between blocks.
/* كيف تشتغل الحسابات */
Subnet Mask —
Subnet

Same subnetting math, adjusted for AWS/Azure — both reserve 5 addresses per subnet instead of the usual 2.

Generates ready-to-paste Cisco/FortiGate CLI configuration (interface, VLAN, ACL, NAT, routing...) for the subnet above — assumes some familiarity with router/switch commands.
Splits one network into several right-sized subnets from a list of host counts — the natural next step after Subnet Lookup.
Subnet Lookup.

comma-separated host counts — one number per subnet you need, e.g. "50,20,2" for three subnets.
>_ route_summarizer advancedمتقدم
For networks that already exist: finds the single summary route covering a list of subnets — used to shrink routing tables.
$ summarize --networks
one network per line, e.g. a route table you want to condense into a single summary route

Paste an existing IP plan to check for overlapping ranges, duplicate subnets, and free address gaps.

>_ enterprise_design advancedمتقدم
Designs full multi-site addressing from scratch: give it site names and each department's host count, it lays out the whole plan and exports a PDF.

Tip: run the Topology section below first — the exported PDF will include a network diagram automatically.
